Artist Statement - We need the images we take. That is why we are photographers. When we say: "this is what i want to take a picture of" we actually say: "this is what i want to remember". We are poetic that way and just like poets we talk about lost chances, failures and the almost certain sense of all things fading at some point.

An image is a visual poem. A venture bound to fail. If everything ends and everything gets lost then our pictures will vanish over time as well. Its flaws are our flaws. But an image as flawed as it might be is also a chance we took. A shot we took. It is a representation of our strong belief in beauty. That there are things worth trying, even if we fail. That there are things worth holding on to even if we will loose them eventually. So I guess we are not only poetic but stubborn as well.
In sharing our images, we share our minds. we allow people to peek into our thoughts. We allow them to see what we see and let them be aware of what we think is important in life.
