David James Coxsell - ‘I just want to create extraordinary images that capture the imagination of the viewer and lure them into their own imaginary world whilst giving them a glimpse of mine’

David has been involved within digital media for almost ten years. He started out in digital manipulation as a hobby whilst working in various factory roles before finally taking the plunge into higher education to help turn his skills into a promising career.

Since then he has successfully completed a Basics Photography course and a HND Course also in Photography at distinction level. He is now within his final year studying towards a BA in Visual Communication at Birmingham City University.

Over the years David has chased the technical perfections required within Photoshop in retouching, manipulation and photographic lighting whilst pushing towards creating a unique style and approach of his own.

Having worked with many creatives including Make Up Artists, Stylists and Clothing Designers throughout the last two years he also decided to re-visit his older creations and influences exploring the darker styles of art forwarding his skills into commercial and fashion media.

At 'I Am Camera' David will be showcasing some of his resulting work from his glimpse into the past and imaginary future.
